Job Overview

Market of Choice is seeking a skilled Scratch Baker to join our bakery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes using traditional recipes and techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and meet customer demand.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve baking skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of professional baking experience, preferably in a scratch bakery environment.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
