Job Summary

The Executive Director oversees the Complex's operations, management, and growth, ensuring it remains a premier sports destination and provides a safe, enjoyable experience for both out-of-state tournaments and local events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to uphold high-quality standards across all areas.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize the Complex's potential and diversify revenue streams.
  • Manage sponsor relations and sales aspects, including retaining current sponsors and identifying new ones to meet or exceed sponsorship revenue goals.
  • Ensure the project aligns with the Board of Directors' strategic objectives and governance standards while meeting bondholders' financial commitments.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with experience and connections in sports tourism.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and mindset to diversify and actualize revenue generation for the Complex.
  • Experience and success in recruiting for large-scale sports events.
  • Bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field and at least five years of experience in sports facility management and event planning.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including team building, written and verbal communication skills, delegation, creativity, motivation, and a visible work ethic that inspires others.
