Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Flaherty & Collins Properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our multifamily housing communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Resolve Maintenance Issues: Troubleshoot and repair maintenance services, including plumbing leaks, electrical problems, HVAC malfunctions, and apartment home appliances.
  • Maintain Equipment and Machinery: Service and maintain equipment and machinery used at the property, such as HVAC systems, elevators, generators, and landscaping equipment.
  • Respond to Emergency Situations: Respond to emergency situations, such as power outages, water leaks, and other critical issues.
  • Record Maintenance Activities: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service requests, repairs performed, parts used, and relevant notes or observations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain an inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: HVAC/EPA certification preferred. Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) is a plus.
  • Experience: One or more years of proven experience in maintenance operations, preferably in multifamily housing.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
