We are currently in search of a Mortgage Underwriter to join our esteemed organization. The Mortgage Underwriter will play a crucial role in evaluating loan applications and conducting interviews with prospective borrowers. This position involves gathering essential background information and meticulously analyzing the credit history of loan applicants. The underwriter will be responsible for making informed decisions to approve or deny loan applications based on thorough analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience is essential
  • Current knowledge of FNMA, FHA, VA, and PHFA programs is required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • DE (Designated Endorsement) is preferred, although relevant experience will be considered
  • This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work
