We are currently in search of a Mortgage Underwriter to join our team. The Mortgage Underwriter will be tasked with evaluating loan applications and conducting interviews with applicants. This role involves gathering pertinent background information and assessing the credit history of loan candidates. The underwriter will make informed decisions to approve or deny loan requests based on thorough analysis.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience is essential.
  • Applicants should have a solid understanding of FNMA, FHA, VA, and PHFA programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • DE (Designated Endorsement) is preferred, although relevant experience will be taken into account.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office work.
