Job Summary:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ACCO Engineered Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services, from conceptual design through construction completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Expertly plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Develop and implement conceptual designs, construction drawings, and specifications for large complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborate with project management, construction, and service departments to ensure seamless project execution and coordination.
Conduct economic and energy analyses to optimize project outcomes.

Field Engineering:

Assist with project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management, and problem-solving/troubleshooting as required.
Ensure the quality of HVAC design drawings and models, adhering to ACCO engineering standards and project execution processes.
Effectively communicate with colleagues and project team members, promoting a collaborative and professional work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Professional Engineer license highly desirable but not required.
8+ years of experience with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor or HVAC consultant.
Excellent understanding of engineering and HVAC design fundamentals, including ACCO engineering standards and project execution processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with excellent familiarity with Building Codes and industry standards.

Physical Requirements:

The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision. The auditory/hearing abilities required by the job include the ability to hear customers calling by telephone. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk and sit. This individual must be a responsible person and regular attendance is required.

Hours:

This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm with one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Competitive Wages:

$56.60 to $68.49 per hour. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
