Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:


You will have the chance to support the formulation of process parameters and data utilized in establishing operational standards for manufacturing techniques.

Your role will involve conducting testing and analysis to develop new methodologies and assist in refining processes and resolving manufacturing issues as needed.

You will oversee procedures and documentation, all while collaborating with a driven team to ensure objectives and timelines are achieved.


Essential Functions:


Directs the process assessment to enhance product quality and productivity, oversees the planning and execution of new initiatives, maintains suitable documentation for processes, and takes responsibility for fostering effective communication, coordination, and relationships with staff, clients, and management.


Qualifications:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Material Science is essential.

Experience Required:
Experience in Carbon/Graphite Processing and Characterization is highly advantageous.

Familiarity with Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Certification in Quality Improvement techniques (Six Sigma DMAIC or 8D Practical Problem Solving) is preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
Strong analytical and technical background with problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Proficient in PC applications (Microsoft Office and Engineering/Quality Software).

Quality-focused with a keen attention to detail.

Experience collaborating with high-performance teams.

Strong skills in problem analysis and resolution.

Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel software is required.

Effective time management, planning, and negotiation skills are essential.

This position requires access to information governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).

Individual must be a:

Citizen of the United States, or a Permanent resident alien of the United States, or a Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as outlined by 22CFR120.15.

Responsible for the creation, transmission, storage, and destruction of Controlled Unclassified Information/Technology in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Must comply with the Morgan Technology Transfer Control Plan, government regulations, and company procedures.

Assist the Export Compliance Manager in classifying new products, materials, and processes.

Must not export controlled technology to a foreign national without approval from the Export Compliance Manager.

Having access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
