Quality Metallurgist

We're seeking a skilled Process Metallurgist to join our team and contribute to our ongoing annealing process improvements. As a key member of our production team, you'll work closely with our quality, production, and maintenance teams to enhance our processes, reliability, quality, and efficiency.

• Collaborate with our quality, production, and maintenance teams to drive process improvements and enhance our overall performance.
• Play a pivotal role in the ongoing improvements to our annealing process and other continuous improvement projects.
• Aid in Root Cause Analysis of process-related defects and ensure the resolution of any issues affecting our final products.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints, utilizing failure analysis and metallographic interpretations to uphold our commitment to best-in-class service.

• A four-year degree in Materials Engineering or a related technical field.
• Two-plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Metallurgy and steel manufacturing knowledge, including the use of metallurgical lab equipment.
• Experience in an IATF 16949 or ISO-9000-based quality system.
• Experience in APQP and PPAP processes.
