Join Portsmouth Regional Hospital's Team as a Neurotrauma Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the PCU Neuro Trauma department at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

About the Role

The CNC will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
  • Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse license.
