JOB SUMMARY
The Procurement Specialist is tasked with acquiring raw materials, components, supplies, equipment, and office necessities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures the procurement of the highest quality products at the most competitive prices.
Develops and verifies that all aspects of the purchasing agreement are fulfilled with the necessary approvals.
Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, preparing and processing assigned purchase orders.
Monitors inventory levels, reordering and purchasing items as required.
Creates and reconciles reports to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
Coordinates with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Expedites deliveries as needed to meet production and customer requirements.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
2-4 years of relevant experience is essential.
Or a suitable combination of education and experience.
