Job Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer Task Lead will be responsible for supporting, assisting, and advising in the planning, scheduling, execution monitoring, and timely reporting of testing. This includes supporting and expediting data exchanges and reviews to facilitate timely and effective evaluation of test results. The successful candidate will also assist PEO USC in interpreting test results and responding to press inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of testing
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and results
  • Support and expedite data exchanges and reviews
  • Assist PEO USC in interpreting test results and responding to press inquiries
  • Support the generation, updates, and configuration management of key test and evaluation documents
  • Review current guidance and directives and apply insights to keep PEO T&E processes and procedures in compliance
  • Support reviews and provide analysis of draft environmental assessments
  • Provide support for PEO USC's identification and development of technical requirements
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
  • Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management discipline
  • Required: 10 years' experience in Engineering or Business Management
  • Preferred: 15+ year experience in test, and science and technology and aviation engineering
  • Desired/Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
