Position Overview

The Department of Psychological Science at the University of California, Irvine is seeking qualified candidates for a Lecturer Pool in Psychology. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to teach and contribute to the department's academic programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in various areas of psychology, including developmental, social, personality, health, biological, clinical, cultural, community, environmental, and ecological psychology, as well as affective science and psychology and law.

The Lecturer Pool will be used to cover specific topics and courses as needed, with appointments typically made for one quarter but potentially extending to two or three quarters. The salary is commensurate with experience and will be determined based on the course(s) assigned.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree or higher in psychology or a related field, as well as teaching experience at the college level.

Applicants should also have a strong commitment to teaching and a willingness to adapt to the department's curriculum and teaching needs.
