Position Overview
The University of California, Irvine's Department of Informatics in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences occasionally requires Unit 18 Faculty to assist in delivering a diverse curriculum. The department is highly interdisciplinary, with faculty and student backgrounds in various fields, including anthropology, computer science, design, education, health informatics, humanities, media arts, organizational studies, psychology, software engineering, and more.
A compelling teaching portfolio and a clear vision for teaching to a diverse audience at the university level are highly desired. This recruitment is for potential openings in the future and does not guarantee availability.
Qualifications
- Applicants should have a graduate degree (Ph.D. or M.S.) in an area related to Informatics or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
