Job Overview:

As a Senior Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development of scalable software capabilities within our Technology business unit. Your role will involve planning and executing projects to design, build, and maintain high-quality software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Software Systems: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and implement web-based applications using.NET/C# and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software systems.
  • Project Management: Plan and execute projects to meet business objectives, working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment, working with development, architecture, and support teams to ensure seamless system design and integration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and document application and process improvements, implementing changes to enhance quality, scope, and scale.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical groups, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with.NET/C# or related Microsoft technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • 1+ year of experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server.

Core Competencies:

  • Experience with design patterns and C#.
  • Skilled in designing microservices using CQRS.
  • Proficient with AWS EKS and related services.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and related workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Agile scrum experience.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Confluent Kafka.
  • Application architecture experience.
  • Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis.
  • Experience with source control tools like TFS, GIT.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework or other.NET ORM tools.

Compensation: $150,000 - $225,000
