Medical Writing Director for Neurology and Oncology Programs

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Writing Director to lead our medical writing activities for neurology and oncology programs. As part of our fast-paced team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and support to our staff and contractors, ensuring timely completion of high-quality clinical and submission documentation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned medical writer to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact in our organization's mission to satisfy unmet medical needs and increase the benefits healthcare provides to patients, their families, and caregivers.
Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of clinical sections of submission documents, including briefing books, global investigator brochures, and annual regulatory reports
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to develop document standards and structure
- Implement document quality controls, standards, and best practices
- Work closely with clinical research and biostatistics staff to gain a comprehensive understanding of study design and results
- 8-10 years of medical writing experience in an industry setting, with specific experience in therapeutic areas
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to multitask on complex projects and meet deadlines
- Result-driven with advanced working knowledge of MS Project and MS Word
- Experience in using document management systems
