About the Role

This position offers a challenging and rewarding experience as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing practice, promoting health education, and fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and healthcare consumers.

Responsibilities
  • Standards of Practice: Utilize the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide individualized care to patients.
  • Standards of Professional Performance: Engage in professional role activities, including leadership, collaboration, communication, education, evidence-based practice, quality of practice, and resource utilization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in medical oncology, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
