Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Waste Processing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential tasks related to the processing and handling of various materials at our facility. Your responsibilities will include operating equipment, maintaining work areas, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Equipment Operation: You will operate a variety of construction and power equipment, such as mechanized brooms, Skid Steers, high-reach lifts, and water trucks.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: General equipment maintenance tasks, including greasing, checking fluids, refueling, and cleaning equipment, will be part of your responsibilities.
- Site Management: You will contribute to site compliance and groundskeeping by performing daily tasks such as uncovering/recovering soil piles, weed whacking, site cleanup, silt sack replacements, and more.
- Material Sorting: Your role will involve sorting through soil and rocks to remove debris from conveyors and manually.
- Safety and Teamwork: You will adhere to strict safety protocols and work collaboratively with other crew members to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Experience in operating heavy equipment and working on processing or construction sites is highly desirable.
