Position Overview

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $34.00 to $42.00 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials.

Available Shifts: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am (Overnight)

Shift Differentials: $3.00 for 3pm-11pm shifts, $1.00 for weekends across all shifts, and $6.00 for 11pm-7am shifts, plus $1.00 for weekends.

Staffing Ratios: We maintain favorable staff-to-resident ratios to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Nursing Professional, you will assess patient health issues, deliver nursing care to patients who are ill, disabled, recovering, or injured, maintain essential medical records, implement nursing care plans, and provide guidance on health maintenance and preventative services.
  • Oversee the operations of healthcare units, including resident rooms and common areas, while managing the nursing care provided to patients.
  • Delegate responsibilities and coordinate patient care according to the skills of nursing staff.
  • Ensure the execution of physician's orders and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Accurately document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, maintaining thorough records of medications and treatments.
  • Prepare monthly summaries for nursing and assisted living residents.
  • Promote patient independence through effective care strategies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care provided to residents.
  • Assist in developing patient care plans within the nursing unit and assisted living area.
  • Prepare and update employee schedules.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
  • Identify nursing challenges and work towards their resolution.
  • Participate in establishing nursing service objectives and policies.
  • Engage in the evaluation of nursing personnel.
  • Provide direct nursing care as needed.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.
  • Attend annual training on body mechanics, safety procedures, and right-to-know information.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competence in nursing practice through vigilant patient observation and assessment.
  • Experience in developing and implementing nursing care plans and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor staff while maintaining current knowledge in the field.
  • Qualifications include graduation from a state-accredited nursing program, current licensure to practice nursing in New Hampshire, and progressive experience in the nursing profession.
