Assembler Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure high-quality products.
  • Manage time and productivity to meet department goals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Assembler Levels:Assembler I:
  • Little to no prior relevant experience required.
  • Ability to use hand/power tools and other special equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform standard assembly-related tasks.
Assembler II:
  • Two years of assembly or operator experience required.
  • Ability to operate a variety of machine tools and follow instructions.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
Assembler III:
  • Five years of advanced manufacturing production experience required.
  • Solid verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in manufacturing production.
Requirements:
  • Works predominantly on the manufacturing floor.
  • May be exposed to heat, electrical and mechanical hazards, noise, solvents, dust, dirt, fumes, contaminants, cold, noise, vibration, etc.
  • Climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, and ability to move material weighing up to 70 lbs.

Hoshizaki America offers a competitive salary range and a comprehensive benefits package, including attendance childcare incentives. Salary ranges are as follows:

  • Assembler I: $15 per hour
  • Assembler II: $17.15 per hour
  • Assembler III: $18.40 per hour
