Job Description

PIRTEK Peachtree, a leading provider of on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement services, is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Sales and Service Technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose hydraulic problems, service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base, including manufacturing, construction, and rental companies. The successful candidate will also conduct sales calls to generate work from existing and new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
  • Conduct service calls in the local area
  • Evaluate the condition of equipment and recognize any other potential hose failure
  • Maintain clean, well-running work vehicle, inventory, and tools
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on site when possible
  • Perform all work safely and with high quality
  • Provide after-hour on-call assistance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined with heavy equipment or like experience
  • Successful technicians are upbeat with a positive attitude and are self-motivators
  • Experience as a mechanic, or medium-level mechanical skills
  • Attention to detail under pressure
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work outdoors under varying conditions: hot, cold, rain, dirt, mud, noise, bad smells, heights, etc.
  • Ability to safely work with tools in confined spaces, on the ground, inside and outside, and around heavy equipment and machinery, etc.
  • Must have pride in workmanship
  • Always strive for excellence in safety, quality, and proficiency
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Clean driving record
  • Criminal background check will be conducted
  • Must have had a valid driver's license for more than 6 years
