About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Research Scientist to join our team in developing cutting-edge solutions for Generative AI and Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in computer science, linguistics, statistics, or a related technical field and have experience in one area of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.

This is a remote position based in the United States, offering a competitive salary range from $39,500 to $110,240 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) savings with a company match.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance AI model training and serving systems in partnership with applied scientists and software engineers.
  • Optimize model performance and scalability by diving deep into model structure.
  • Build state-of-the-art systems using cutting-edge technologies and shape the future of Generative AI at Oracle.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in one area of computer science, such as Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.
  • Expected graduation date of May 2026 or beyond.
  • Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2025.
  • Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences.
