Currently, we're seeking a motivated, career-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area, as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you're looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establish and maintain the consistency of a system's functional, performance, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information and allow technical insight into all levels of the system design throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Identify, baseline, maintain, and control changes with Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Notice of Revisions (NOR) for selected components of a complete system, subsystem, service, or product.
  • Establish and maintain the configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment.
  • Senior role vital to controlling components as projects and systems are developed, updated, and deployed. Supervises and mentors subordinate project staff. They receive direction from the Cyber Operations Lead.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline. Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a High School diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an Associate's degree. A Master's degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience.
  • Experience with Configuration Change Board (CCB) and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes.
  • Five (5) years of position-specific experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Experience with industry-standard or DoD-directed CM tools such as Git or Subversion and experience with team tools such as Jira, Confluence.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentation.
