Job Overview

About the Role

This SLPA position offers a unique chance to assist licensed SLPs in delivering therapy sessions and interventions. You will play a vital role in implementing treatment plans and monitoring client progress.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with SLPs to design and deliver individualized therapy programs.
  • Implement treatment plans created by licensed SLPs, ensuring accurate and effective interventions.
  • Monitor client progress, providing feedback to the SLP to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes, facilitating seamless communication among team members.
  • Engage with families and caregivers to promote carryover of skills and reinforce therapy goals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • An active Texas SLPA license, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling seamless collaboration with colleagues and effective communication with clients and their families.
