We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Emergency Trauma Center team at Mercy. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, assessing and addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients in the Emergency Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved Practical Nursing Program.
- Current LPN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current LPN Missouri temporary work permit.
- None
- Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare provider card or complete a course within their probationary period.
- Preferred Certification: IV Therapy Administration course approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
