About the Role

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants at Right at Home, a leading provider of in-home care and assistance. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform personal care activities that assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation/transfers, dressing/shaving, and preparing meals and snacks.
  • Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments and perform light housekeeping activities.
  • Perform patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse, including providing hospice supportive care, medication reminders, and assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
Requirements
  • NYS Certified Certificate as a PCA or HHA.
  • A health physical within the last 12 months.
  • A proof of lab results showing MMR, Varicella, and PPD exposure.
  • A Flu shot.
  • 2 Identifications (1 with a picture).
  • 2 Professional references (no family or friends).
