Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Satisfaction: Connect with patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Imaging and Interpretation: Interpret physician orders, select software options, and imaging parameters to produce high-quality PET/CT images/studies.
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
  • Certification: Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required. State License as required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS certification required.
