Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage a service vehicle, performing tasks such as tire changes, lockout assistance, and fuel delivery.
- Engage with customers on-site, building rapport and trust while addressing their needs.
- Utilize sales techniques to promote AAA products and services during service calls.
- Employ on-board technology, including communication devices and navigation systems.
- Complete necessary documentation, including call logs and service invoices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, even in high-pressure situations.
- Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and common failure causes.
- Effective problem-solving and listening abilities to ensure member safety.
- Capability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Completion of relevant training programs (e.g., AAA Compliance Training).
- Preferred vocational training or certification in automotive services.
- ASE Certification is a plus.
Work Environment
This role involves outdoor work at various vehicle service locations. Physical demands include lifting and transporting items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as bending and kneeling as necessary. The position requires adaptability to different weather conditions and traffic scenarios. Service Providers must provide a photograph for identification purposes.
