Lead Project Scheduler Job Overview

Position Title: Lead Project Scheduler

Location: Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the interview process

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and must successfully complete a federal background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct schedule assessments for contractor submissions to evaluate effects on the construction timeline
  • Develop and execute a Critical Path Method Baseline Schedule utilizing Primavera P6 software
  • Revise monthly construction timelines with progress evaluations
  • Ensure that contractors' schedules effectively organize the work and forecast completion timelines
  • Engage in monthly schedule review sessions with clients and contractors
  • Carry out schedule impact assessments for project modifications
  • Create schedule fragments for documentation of change orders
  • Generate manpower resource allocation reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 10 years of scheduling expertise in large-scale federal construction projects
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 software and RMS 3.0
  • Preferred certifications include CMAA Certified Construction Manager or AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional
