Cardiac Sonographer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Cardiac Sonographer II, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including echocardiography machines.
- Interpret and report echocardiogram results to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography.
- Experience with echocardiography machines and software.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The Cardiac Sonographer II must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to lift and move equipment as needed.
