Position: NDT Technician

We are seeking skilled NDT Technicians with a preference for candidates experienced in Aerospace or Physical Laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the methods for which you are certified and commit to ongoing professional development.
  • Familiarize yourself with the relevant codes, standards, and contractual documents governing the NDT methods employed.
  • Operate with minimal supervision while effectively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Skillfully gather and analyze information, presenting numerical data clearly.
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and detect defects using various NDT techniques.
  • Develop examination techniques for inspected objects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Interpret radiographs, CRTs, digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
  • Organize and document test results comprehensively.
  • Carry out specialized inspections as required.
  • Provide mentorship and on-the-job training for other inspectors pursuing NDT certification.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Competencies:
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

  • Mechanical aptitude and adaptability to changing work schedules.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Capability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred certifications include Eddy Current or Radiologic Certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of NDT experience is preferred, including methods such as RT, UT, UTSW, UTPA, MT, or PT.
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Physical Laboratory settings is advantageous.
  • NDT Level II Certification is required.
  • NAS 410 Certification is mandatory.
  • A solid technical background in NDT methods, procedures, and standards.
  • Proven ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment is essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol screenings and background checks.
