Amentum is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Housekeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and clean workplace, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Comply with all environmental health and safety requirements, ensuring a healthy and safe workplace for all employees and visitors.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and organized storage area.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to achieve common goals and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, providing regular updates and feedback on cleaning tasks and progress.
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks, including window cleaning, carpet cleaning, and stripping and waxing floors, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special events and projects, to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cleaning and maintenance.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Valid driver's license required, with a clean driving record.
