About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host to join our team at Snooze Eatery. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area to ensure a clean and inviting environment for our guests.
  • Welcome each guest into our restaurant and thank them when they leave, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Seat each guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist iPad system to minimize wait times and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Keep the crowd excited and having fun while on a wait, providing entertainment and engaging with our guests.
  • Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system to ensure accurate and efficient service.
  • Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest requests to servers as needed.
  • Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables to ensure seamless service.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with basic knowledge of Snooze service and menu items.
  • Familiarity with POS and iPad systems.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
  • Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds.
  • Age 18 or older and authorized to work in the US.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is recommended but not required.
