The Memorial Health University Medical Center offers a comprehensive New Grad RN Residency Program designed to support the transition of new graduate nurses into professional practice. This 12-month program provides a structured learning environment, hands-on experience, and mentorship from experienced nurse leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition and identify changes in patient status
- Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response
- Provide exceptional patient care and respond to patient requests
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience required
