Job Overview:

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in managing the flow of merchandise, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes for parts dispatched to and from the TPH distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the shipping and receiving of products
  • Prepare and fulfill customer orders for timely delivery
  • Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts
  • Coordinate schedules for contract drivers based on operational needs
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Perform store opening and closing tasks
  • Manage cash handling, including cash counts and deposits
  • Stock and retrieve parts as needed
  • Answer phone calls professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store and front counter
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and safe

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail setting
  • Strong motivation to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
