Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist I to join our team. As a CT Technologist I, you will work under supervision to deliver cardiovascular and radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, communicating with patients and families, operating specialized equipment, and conducting post-procedure reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, correlating clinical history with the procedures ordered.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • Operate specialized cardiovascular and radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, or surgical procedures.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure all required elements are completed and documented.
  • Transfer images and data, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance according to guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and improve care and treatment.
Requirements:

To be successful as a CT Technologist I, you must possess a core knowledge of cardiovascular and radiologic technologies and terminology. You should be able to apply core-level specialty theory, practices, and techniques, and demonstrate attention to detail. Additionally, you must be able to work as part of a team, handle confidential information with discretion, multi-task in stressful situations, and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
