Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Chief Nurse Officer/ACNO to join our team at Emory Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and patient flow for Emory Healthcare hospitals or Physician Group Practice sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing strategic plans aligned with the overall Emory Healthcare nursing strategic plan.
  • Provide vision, direction, and leadership to departments within Nursing in concert with the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Lead program planning, implementation, and evaluation efforts for areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain personal development plan and provide management development and coaching for other members of the team.
  • Represent Emory Healthcare at state, local, and national levels through involvement in professional associations and organizations.
  • Participate in community service.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree required.
  • Doctorate in nursing preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive nursing experience with a minimum of five years of progressive administrative experience required.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Georgia or able to obtain a Georgia license.
  • Certification in nursing administration and/or area of expertise required.
