Cornerstone Learning Community (CLC) is in search of a dedicated full-time mathematics educator for middle school to enhance our teaching team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the International Baccalaureate (IB) mathematics curriculum, covering topics such as pre-algebra, algebra 1, and geometry.
  • Participate in training sessions related to the IB framework and subject matter (expenses covered).
  • Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Uphold a high standard of instruction that aligns with the school's core values, educational research, and the IB framework.
  • Report student progress at the end of each trimester.
  • Collaborate closely with the IB team on daily tasks, field trips, service projects, and integrated learning experiences.
  • Serve as an advisory teacher for one of the grades.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, sciences, or education (master's preferred).
  • A Florida Educator Certificate for middle school is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lead Teacher.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for the subject matter and middle school education.

Qualified candidates will be invited to:
