Position Summary

Come join our team at Challenger Learning Center as an Education Assistant, where you'll work closely with the Education Manager to ensure seamless implementation of educational activities. Your duties will encompass administrative tasks, occasional IT support, supporting/ coordinating educational initiatives and programs, and ensuring safety supervision—all while supporting our mission and contributing to our overarching goals.

What will you gain from this position?

In this position, you will gain valuable experience in educational program coordination, administrative tasks, IT support, and safety supervision. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission, inspire learners, and support the overall success of Challenger Learning Center.

Hours: Up to 29 hours per week.

Pay Rate: Starting at $15 per hour, we provide competitive pay based on experience.

 

️ Qualifications:

  • Successfully pass a level 2 background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in education or related fields preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and interact positively with students and visitors.
  • REQUIRED: Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Passion for STEM education and space science is a plus
