North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a per diem / prn nursing job in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As a per diem / prn nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your critical care skills.
Responsibilities:- Assess and perform acid base, ventilation, oxygenation, quality control, and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide clinical and physical assessment to ensure individualized patient-focused therapy.
- Teach patients, family members, or caregivers, and provide learning opportunities for students and/or groups.
- Maintain a valid and current Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Care for a wide range of patients, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist or eligible.
- New incumbents must complete in-depth hospital orientation, as well as Respiratory Care Department-specific orientation and orientation to the Critical Care Units.
