Job Summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established protocols and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of radiation safety and radiopharmaceuticals, as well as excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures according to protocols and guidelines
  • Conduct quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines
  • Provide complex technical care necessary to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Two (2) years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Either CNMT or NMTCB registered
  • BLS Certified
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals
