Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgical ICU team at Ascension Borgess in Kalamazoo, MI. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure within 3 months of hire date.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing within 6 months of hire date. BSN preferred.
