Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Borgess in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients in the Neuro/Ortho department, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse within 3 months of hire date.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (AAS or BSN) at start date, with BSN required within 6 years.
