Role Overview: Under the guidance of a physician and RN supervision, the Crisis Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in assessing patient and family needs, delivering compassionate care, and providing emotional support during critical times to enhance patient comfort and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the RN case manager to deliver continuous bedside clinical assessments, implement prescribed care, and offer both physical and emotional support to patients as outlined in the care plan, while promptly reporting any significant changes in patient condition or family needs.
2. Work alongside the RN to receive and execute physician orders aimed at optimizing patient comfort.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and possess a valid Florida LPN license.
- At least one year of experience in an acute care environment, with direct patient care; prior experience in hospice care is preferred.
