POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Maintenance Lead is tasked with overseeing and coordinating all divisional activities pertaining to maintenance and facility operations. This role ensures compliance with all timing schedules and trade regulations. The Lead acts as a vital link between leadership and maintenance staff, addressing policy applications, employee relations, and fostering continuous improvement in processes and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts maintenance on all production machinery
  • Possesses knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
  • Understands pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
  • Familiar with programmable logic controls
  • Performs repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Works with voltage ranges from 24v to 480v
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots motor controls on three-phase equipment and control circuits
  • Identifies and resolves machine malfunctions and mechanical issues
  • Demonstrates the ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Designs and implements necessary controls for new or refurbished projects
  • Assists in initiating equipment procedures following updates
  • Responsible for identifying required parts for repairs and obtaining quotes for purchasing

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair, along with a technical degree.
