We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial individual to fill the role of Project Manager within our Civil Site Group in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on management style and a drive to secure site development engineering projects across the Midwest. This role offers the chance to cultivate a robust client network while thriving in a dynamic and expanding company, with ample opportunities for professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, mentor team members, and identify new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects to ensure profitability, including effective task delegation and quality control.
  • Enhancing client satisfaction through active participation in proposals and presentations.
  • Providing technical expertise in collaboration with business development teams.

Applicants should have a proven track record in managing the design of site layouts, grading and drainage systems, and permitting for both commercial and residential developments, as well as road and utility design and hydrologic/hydraulic analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Registered engineer with 8-10+ years of comprehensive site development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Established relationships with private developers, local municipalities, and permitting agencies.
  • Experience in crafting proposals and delivering presentations to secure projects.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities to mentor and guide staff.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects profitably.
