Job Title: Principal Process Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Process Design Engineer to join our team at Fluor Corporation in Greenville, SC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design of complex process systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review specifications and design criteria for process systems
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations for technical solutions to complex problems
  • Perform and verify engineering analyses and calculations; specify materials, equipment, and systems
  • Coordinate technical matters with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients
  • Ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan and established procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Nuclear Engineering
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable federal regulations (including Department of Energy orders) and state and local codes and standards
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences
Preferred Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Experience in designing systems, structures, and components for nuclear facilities following ASME NQA-1 standards
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial material availability and cost analysis
