As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
- Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB.
- Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, including Spanish.
