Poultry Nutrition Researcher

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Poultry Science. The successful candidate will establish a research program in poultry nutrition, focusing on areas such as nutrition and animal well-being, health management, and production efficiency outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program in poultry nutrition
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in poultry science and nutrition
- Mentor and advise students in research and academic pursuits
- Collaborate with industry partners and other faculty members to advance the land-grant mission of the college and university
- Ph.D. in animal sciences, poultry science, nutrition, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in poultry nutrition research and teaching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of academic and industry audiences
- Experience in interdisciplinary research teams
- Documented evidence of individual and/or collaborative research and teaching efforts in poultry nutrition
