Poultry Health Researcher

The Ohio State University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position in the Department of Animal Sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an independent and collaborative research program in poultry health, with a focus on addressing current and future challenges of the poultry industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in poultry science, animal health, or a related field, and will be able to demonstrate expertise in conducting applied and/or basic research in poultry health. The candidate should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness and ability to work closely with diverse groups of academic, industry, and public audiences.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a collaborative and independent extramurally funded research program that is nationally recognized. They will also be expected to contribute to the department's academic mission through the teaching of undergraduate or graduate courses, and to serve the department, college, university, and professional communities through committee work and other appropriate responsibilities and activities.
