Job Summary

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced AIT Technician - Vehicle Integration to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing sub-assemblies of spacecraft, ensuring high-quality products that meet our stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules, following detailed procedures and quality control standards.
  • Perform soldering tasks, utilizing knowledge of soldering tools and practices (J-STD-001 certification preferred).
  • Operate hand tools, including screwdrivers, torque wrenches, tweezers, and scissors.
  • Perform miscellaneous lab duties, such as kitting, inventory, and organization tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with the support engineering team, updating documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
  • Basic avionics and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Assist in spacecraft flight integration activities.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional experience working hands-on as a technician in the aerospace, aviation, or a similar industry.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions for testing flight modules.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft Office products, and internet browser applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and documentation.

Salary: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour. Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
